I capture video and convert to VCD. The quality of VHS Video (Original) is very good and the quality of VCD too.
The resolution of this VCD is 352x240. In DVD player, the resolution is Full Screen. My doubt is:
What the resolution of the VCD in DVD Players?
The quality is the same of VHS?

    roglopes,

If I'm understanding your post I believe your perplexed as to why a 352 x 240 frame size on your computer plays full screen through your DVD player on your TV? Repost if I'm misguided.

The two playback systems are not one and the same thing. Also, mixing the terms frame size and resolution add to the confusion, they are not synonymous with each other.

Your computer monitor is a certain "frame size" if you set the screen "resolution" to 1024 x 768 you'll have a much better looking monitor than if the screen resolution was set at 640 x 480.

The same holds true with digital video. The size of the frame does not determine the resolution in terms of visual quality, that is determined by the kbps up to the point of absolute diminishing returns as far as file size vs kbps are concerned.

Of course large frame size 720 x 480 coupled with high bit rate 4000 kbps or above is going to produce stunning results but at the price of huge file sizes and the limitations of your computer system.

Personally, I find that capturing at 352 x 480 uncompressed AVI and encoding that to XVCD 352 x 240 @ 2300 kbps meets my needs perfectly for the balance between visual quality and file size issues.
