Hello Koxon and everyone,
First of all, thanks a lot for this post. It is very interesting and really looking toward the solution you and your team will develop!
I was wondering something though and you or people on this forum may have the answer.
So according to your simulation it can indeed be costly to run a video transcoding service on the cloud.
In this frame, do you or anyone know how some services such as (I'm taking randomly the first one on Google search)- http://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/en - are able to deliver video conversion for free ? As I do not suspect their ads system to generate much money. I would be interested if some people have some hints on this?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

The costs are not very high - when you have not much users.... services like http://www.convert2mp3.cc etc. have much costs because the run several server because of their traffic.
