Need help on smart rendering in Solveigmm Video Splitter

Hi.
This option (in the Control menu) is greyed out (not available) for any video I try. (Avi, mp4).
Anyone know how to activate this option?
Although I am using the trial version, it has full features of the paid one.

Can I please know how to use smart rendering in Solveigmm? The help does not mention it.

Some please help me out. Its 4 am in the morning and I am sitting on my computer waiting for someone to answer.

nice whining. it looks like it's supposed to be automatic.

For all media files smart editing, frame-accurate appoach is used. SolveigMM advanced know-how technology keeps 99% of data and only transcodes a few frames at the beginning and end of the video segments, so files are processed fast and lossless

never heard of anyone who uses it though.
