a bit disapointed in the quality of the picture/video from NBC.
since my broadcast content is still in standard defination (SD) the quality of these broadcasts for NBC is horrible. they are blurry, well, the text is pretty blurry. looks like they are using poor downscaling or something.
i'm watching the games from directv on nbc using their Family Package deal, but i recently watched their channel 625 USN station for free for two weeks, and it was in better quality. i guess each station or network uses different scalling methods from SD->HD or HD->SD or something other.
i wonder how the HD side looks, quality-wise.

I haven't turned it on yet. However nbc is 1080i if memory serves so that will be problematic to some. I have my dvr set to output everything at 720p so I dont' notice the i factor much.
edit - I prefer fox to cbs for football because its 720p not 1080i.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
