My TV does have native 1080i mode and my BD player is connected to the TV via HDMI and works fine. But my laptop seems to not like my TV for some reason. It does not matter which HDMI cable I used or which of the 2 HDMI ports on my TV, if I set my laptop to 720 it plays fine on my TV but if I try to switch to 1080i mode, it turns to garbage. Like old school off air snow but in '60s trippy color. Like those 3D visual puzzle you needed to stare at to see the solution. Like this below:
Laptop is HP 6135DX with AMD graphics, running Windows 7. My TV is a 32" Vizio something, 2 years old. The player is Magnavox, from Walmart the first sub-$100 BD player (got it $70)
Anything I can do to find out what the problem was?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
