  1. Hi All,

I've searched the forum pretty exhaustively searching for a way to repair the main video of my wedding from 5 years ago. Unfortunately, only SUPER was able to do a conversion and the result didn't look good and had no audio. As a result, i'm hoping someone is interested in earning a $50 bounty via PayPal to fix the file. Ideally it should have audio.

    File info:

    Code:

if that's the only file you have you are out of luck. 1gb of dv should be ~ 5 minutes of dv video not the 8 seconds listed. the file is most likely corrupted trash.

  5. Try opening your file with VirtualDub. Is it all there?

  6. If super can handle it, nearly every other tool which uses libav decoders should be able to handle the file.

  7. Super outputs about 5:03 of footage, which is what I'd expect.

VirtualDub errors out on opening the file, as do about 5-10 other utilities I've tried.

I'll send a dropbox link out to all those who've PM'ed me.

First thing to do is get rid of SUPER and do a virus scan.

    Quick question Dave,

No other tool is able to preview the original damaged file? Did you tested any video repair tool like MP4repair.org or Grau's one? Best of luck!
