I was having trouble downloading DVD movies and other video that would play on my computer and most other stand alone DVD players. This is what I finally came up with that worked well and was simple to do also it was, in the end, very simple to figure out. ( I guess I was a little slow )
1. I downloaded a movie ( from crackle.com ) but you can download from any other source using aTube Catcher ( free downloaded ) copy the URL of the movie that you want to capture and paste it onto aTube Catcher. Set aTube Catcher output profile to DVD NTSC standard I'm sure other profiles would work but this is the one that did best for me.
2. After the download is complete you can then run and burn the downloaded through Windows DVD maker. That's it now play the DVD video on most any DVD player or on your computer.
