changing times on srt

I split an mp4 in avidemux. The subs are ok in the first part but will not show onthe second. I think it is because the second video starts at zero but the second part of the srt time starts at one hour in. Is there any way to change the time on the srt partb 2 to make it start from zero

You must cut/fix the subtitles with something else like subtitle edit. And then add/mux the new subtitle back to the mp4 with for example mymp4boxgui.

Or try cut your original mp4 with mymp4boxgui directly and see if it fixes the subtitles automatically. It has no video preview though.
