  1. it's kind of annoying, that the board software seems only to recognize '\r\n' as a new line, which is a pain if you use linux (and copy text from a text editor) which unlike Windows uses '\n' and not '\r\n', would be nice if the software could simply replace '\n' with '\r\n' so that line feeds get properly displayed.
one probably would have to add rules to replace:
    a. '\n' with '\r\n'
    and
    b. '\r\r\n' with '\r\n'
    to make this working

I did not had anyone to talk with since morning. and finally I found you at last.
    just a quick q?
Does Any text editor for Windows not have Edit -> Find and Replace?
if so, \n can be replaced with \r\n very easy.
Do you ever RuN at a speed lower than a JeT?
I guess VH runs on TuX server.

  3. Most a bit more advanced text editors under Windows and Linux support such replacements, but since it's a bother to have to do the replacing, everytime I post a formated text, I wanted to add this as a suggestion to improve the forum.
-> I can handle the problem and this thread is only ment as a suggestion to improve the user-experience of the forum,...

Do you ever RuN at a speed lower than a JeT?
better leave the running to others

  4. if VH uses CKEditor, they have to modify some codes for the POST method.

But, this reminds me the most famous story...
"At the University of Cambridge Newton's experiments were interrupted constantly by his cats scratching at his office door, so he summoned the Cambridge carpenter and had him saw two holes in his door: a large hole for the mother cat and a small one for her kittens."

Try change the message editor to Standard Editor or Basic under https://forum.videohelp.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

  8. Line 1: This is a small test.
Line 2: Switched the message editor to standard instead of FULL WYSIWYG.
-> that seems to do the job

    Thanks!

Yep, the WYSIWYG editor is buggy. Especially in Chrome.
