    I'm not a Sony fan by any means, but that's a darn good price for a 1 inch sensor camera......We'll have to see if they hose the image quality with the usual Sony over-processing................
    Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

    i'd guess not too much image processing will be going on as it's trying to record @ 50mbps to sd card.

    Other competitors might be cooking same or better version. Recording in progressive mode CANON out performed. HD-CAMs will be soon outdated.

    Please don't say this loudly - those stupid people designing HD cameras are live in abyss not knowing this fact thus we can have better quality video thanks to HD CAM.
