  1. Hi,

My problem is my VirtualDub... I need do a compression of a video file (1,98 GB) but it doesn't work, when I do the compression the video is bigger than the original file (2,58 gb) ... I try everything but now I don't know what to do... the file is too big and I need past subs... I even try to use Handbrake but the file is bigger than virtualdub...
I'm slowly learning about this... so I don't know much about it ¿Can anybody help me with this?

    PD: Sorry for my eng...

Adjust the video bitrate. Under video -> compression and choose a codec like xvid codec. Click configure.

You can use a bitrate calculator to calculate the exact bitrate for specific output file size.

But have you lowered the bitrate? Or increase the constant quantizer/quality value.

I haven't used virtualdub and the xvid for a long time now.

But have you found the xvid configure button?

Something like http://www.digital-digest.com/articles/virtualdub_standalone_page4.html might help...but it looks probably a bit different now.
