How Do I Convert .mov to either .mpg or .avi

Well how do I convert a .mov file to either .mpg or .avi?
Which program and where do I download it and how do I do???

It's not that hard.. There are 2 ways of doing this..

You can use a plugin for TMPEG to encode the .MOV's directly to MPEG
but I've noticed that sometimes the audio doesn't encode correctly..

If you want to do it the way I always do, you need Quicktime Movie Player
version 5 fully registered.. With the registered version you can export the
movie to AVI and then encode it to MPEG with TMPEG which gives great
results..

There is another method which is alot easier to use and follow. I HIGHLY recommend using EO Video to convert to mpg. The quality is awesome and also takes less time then tmgenc. I have been using EO Video to convert my movie trailers collection to VCD that way.
