  1. How can you find out whether a certain AVI file is NTSC or PAL?

  2. You could check out by the by the size of the frame and it's rate. If It's ***x388 or ***x576 and with a frame rate of 25 fps than it's PAL. If itīs ***x340 or ***x480 than with a frame rate of 29,97fps or 30fps it's NTSC. You may find 24fps or 23,976fps this is film frame rate.

    Just a small correction there, I believe it should say ***x352 instead !?
