  1. I bought the SM Supervision 2500 two weeks ago because I have heard, that it plays SVCDs in good quality.
I created some SVCD with different Software on my Computer and tried to play them with the Supervision 2500, but it didn't work as it should.
The player accepted the disc, but it didn't play the video fluently (the sound was okay, there were problems only with the picture).
I tried SVCDs with other bitrates, which worked better, but every ten seconds the video stopped for a short moment.
I have no idea what could be the problem, so can anybody help me?

 I'm sorry for eventual mistakes, but I'm not from an English speaking country, so please forgive me...

I own a SM Supervision 2100 and it's working O.K. (I supose 2500 as well)with SVCD's so you should try another burning softw. or encoder. Btw. which prog's are you using ?

  3. I used the Ulead Media Studio Pro 6.5 and DaVideo professional to create the SVCD files. Then I used Nero 5.5, to make a CD.

They haven't worked for me, the first time either. I'm sure you will find the way. . . First, it sounds like a high bitrate problem, try using lower bitrates on CD-RW. Another aspect i've found related to this player, it will NOT play any file under 20 MB. I advise you try a bigger file for experiments ( at least 50 Megs ). Always make sure the files play O.K. on the computer ! Hope this will help.
