    Hi all
    I've read all the Samsung hacks for the blu ray players and still can't unlock the region 2
    Any suggestions or anyone who has been able to unlock a uk based f5500?

    Nothing made by Samsung or Sony anywhere in the world should be considered to be unlockable.

    Now having said that, a very small number of Samsung players sold in Australia/New Zealand have had users claim success. And I've even heard of one or two in Europe that got unlocked, but generally speaking, if you buy Samsung or Sony, then you do so knowing that you'll probably never unlock it. Sorry.
