Dear users,
I decided to compile my application in x64 architecture and did it successfully. When I run my application, I can only access 64-bit filters. Why? How can I use 32-bit filters in my application?
I know an application which is 32-bit but uses 64-bit filters. How is it possible?
Should I change some settings?
Thank you
Best wishes...

The 32 bit and 64 bit systems under windows are completely separate. You cannot use 32 bit filters in 64 bit programs, and vice versa.

I was wrong. The info about the application which uses 64-bit filter was incorrect. The filter was 32-bit also.
Microsoft in this post says that 64-bit processes can use 32-bit COM servers and vice versa. So, if DirectShow filters are COM servers, they can be used.
Are DirectShow filters COM servers?
Thanks
