I have some downloaded .mkv files that appear to be corrupted i.e. they freeze when playing back with Plex. What is the best tool to repair them on a Mac?

I'll try with Handbrake first of all as I have it installed. So mkvtoolnix is not right then?

    Thanks very much!

So what do I do to use it? Just load the file and run it through?

Great wonderful! Think though that Handbrake might have done the trick but I'll keep mkvtoolnix on hand, tried using meteorite but it kept crashing
