  1. There's audio, but that's a pretty poor sample as there's only one place to synch her lips moving with the audio and she's speaking softly. I estimate the delay to be about -400ms. Others may come up with a more precise number but I think that's within 50ms either way.

To get audio maybe install the AC3Filter.

  2. well toward the end where she throws her shoe, after a second or so you cab hear the shoe drop. it should have made the sound as soon as she threw it. that part was mostly what I was trying to give the example for.

  3. The shoe noise is useless because you can't see it hit the floor.
...it should have made the sound as soon as she threw it.
    Eh?

  4. well if you throw a shoe on the ground it'll make a noise instantly. as a matter of fact on the original clip it did. but oh well

You had better think about that. It makes a noise when it hits the ground. We only see her throwing the shoe and don't see it hitting the ground in the sample you provided. Therefore we can't use the sound of it hitting the ground to help synch the audio with the video.

If you have a better sample to upload then please do it.

Can you hear the audio now?

  6. I had it up tp the point here she started to untie the other showe. the sound drop noise came before that. I can try the other shoe to see if it'll come in better though as that sound lasts a couple seconds longer.

  8. That one is actually worse and she's mumbling softly and the shoe noise interferes with trying to synch with her lips moving. I'll say it again. You can't synch with the sound of the shoe hitting the floor unless you can actually see the shoe hitting the floor.

  9. the idea was the hottong the floor. the only other thing I can do is do the same thing but show the original file of the same clip showing it hit the floor instantly. because you'll notice the difference. original=throw hard and it bounces. new clip throws hard, silent, then bounce. I guess i'm just screwed then.

  10. I already suggested doing it again in AVSToDVD, this time setting a delay of -400ms. I can't guarantee it'll solve your problem, but it might, in the absence of a decent sample from which to figure out the delay more precisely.
