hey there, Ive been getting an error while trying to copy a DAT file from original VCDs into my computer. I get a "INVALID MSDOS FONCTION" error message.
I've seen those movies on a VCD player, but I can't play them nor copy them on my PC
Does anyone knows what's it about ?

I encountered a similar problem before. We couldn't read a movie file from a VCD when we used Windows NT. However, when we used Windows 98 on the same PC (it was dual-boot), we were able to read the movie file. Our guess is that the CD-ROM drivers for NT are not as good as those for Win 98. A suggestion would be to look up updated drivers for your CD-ROM drive.
Hope this helps. -
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
