I don't think so for ffmpeg , it's not listed

    ffmpeg -codecs

    ffmpeg -formats

It's not even listed in quicktime pro

    Subject: STAY AWAY FROM BOXX

I always hate to speak poorly of a company but there are some very severe problems with the HDBOXX system (Which I own and have posted a full-length feature on.)
The codec they use causes intermittent random overload crashes in any application that uses quicktime to load its footage. (This means no reliable stable method of treating footage outside the InSync SpeedRazor program that controls it.) PLUS their codec causes significant magenta color shifts and occasional channel shifting, resulting in an unacceptably degraded image quality.
According to engineers at very reputable HD research company, to whom I gave the Boxx Codec for analysis, Their color matrixing (The conversion from YUV to RGB) uses the 601 color space instead of HD.
Until they address this problem and make the codec more friendly to third party applications (such as Combustion, After Effects, Flame, whatever.) I recommend avoiding the system completely.
Aside from all that, the SpeedRazor editing interface is completely counter-intuitive if you've ever used an Avid, Media 100 or Final Cut Pro. Virtually everything is ass-backwards.
I have a friend who bought the Cinewave Uncompressed HD Final Cut Pro 3 system and he says he's very happy with it and it has given him no problems after a few months of use. Given that he paid half of what I paid for the Boxx system, I wish I had gone against my instincts and purchased the Mac after all...

  6. mm, otherwise what I say to my cat?
okay, anyway I don't have a hardware connected to speed razor. Simply I'm looking similar program, similar virtualdub, in which I can encode as virtualdub, Quicktime mov and in particular with the "under codec" called boxx.
Simply I'm looking a program to do encoding in .mov files, I have no experience with the mov files with quicktime and even, I'm not a fan of mac
