i have serious issues with repackaging mkv containers to mp4 for xbox 360 playback.....
started with gotsent and the output files were 10 to 15 seconds out of sync..
then i tried xenonmkv and it was more succesful..every output file was now only 1-2 seconds out of sync..
so now i try using avidemux 2.6 and 8 times out of 10 when muxing the file to mp4 i get a error message saying video is too short..(also should be noted when avidemux does work the resulting mp4 file is flawless with no sync issues)
all i need to do is change the container to mp4 without touching audio/video...
any ideas?? and please no ffmpeg i'm new to all this...i have no idea how to use command line...

hey ok so..if i can find when the framerate changes could i split the video into 2 parts to fix this issue?? when i use avidemux and it says files too short...theres still an output file saved its just not the full video...so do you think it would work if i keep that file then try muxing the rest of the video separetly? if that makes any sense lol
sorry so remedial lol....... -

Try a simple ffmpeg command. Put this in a batch file called "Remux to MP4.bat" and you can drag/drop video files onto it to remux into MP4.
Code:"c:\program files\ffmpeg\bin\ffmpeg" -i %1 -vcodec copy -acodec copy "%~d1%~p1%~n1.mp4" pause
