    Hi,
Need help with corrupted mov files. Initially had an issue transferring my mov files to my computer; an error occurred and multiple files were erased from the CF card. I was able to recover them with rescue software but some of the files will not play in quick time or sony movie studio. This message occurs, "Error 2048 Couldn't open the file because it is not a file that quick time understands." Any suggestions on how to salvage these would be greatly appreciated. I will try to attach a mov file.
    Thanks

Okey. It worked to repair it but I'm not sure if it's the entire clip or correct clip(some data can be mixed when you use undelete software).

    Hi Baldrick,
Thank you for helping with this. Yes, it looks like this is a mixed file. It starts out on one game and finishes on another but the main clip is definitely worth keeping and using in the highlight video I am working on (my nephew is #52 on the maroon and yellow team). Can you please tell me how you fixed this file? I have more files with this issue and I would like to try to fix them.
    Thank you

    Hi Baldrick,
I also have a handful of files with these extensions; .anm, .bdr, .btr, .mac, .mbw, .pcx, .mov.sfk
Any idea how I can check these? They all came from recovered cf card. I only shoot video and stills on this card.
    Thanks so much
