amarectv and roxio game capture hd pro

hi i tried different guides on how to setup roxio with amarectv but everytime i get this error :


also i get no format options when i select the roxio :

AmarecTV only works with capture devices that can output uncompressed video and use software to encode. The Roxio Game Capture HD Pro encodes via its own built-in hardware, and outputs an already encoded H.264 stream. It is never going to work with AmarecTV no matter what you do.

ah ok, are there any hd capture cards that will work for amarectv ? i need something for the xbox one which only uses hdmi

Before I go any further, the only HD capture devices that will work with AmarecTV are internal PCI-e cards or ExpressCARD devices, so you need either a desktop or a laptop with an ExpressCARD slot. Do you have one of them?

If you were planning to use AmarecTV with a capture device so your laptop display could act as a substitute for a TV, I have to agree that buying a small TV is a much better way to go.
