Im trying to load a video in virtualdub, but get the error message "failed to register FLVsplitter.ax error code 0x80070005"
,please can you advise me how to register successfully ?

Which OS is it?

You could open a CMD prompt as administrator and issue the regsvr32 command manually.
For example,
regsvr32 \my-tools\codecs\flvsplitter.ax << assuming that is where the splitter actually resides.
