  1. FFInputDriver.vdplugin: can I configure it to force its output in YUV only? = NO rgb output

If my source is YUV I want' intra-conversion in rgb even if output of virtualdub is YUV, simply I want encode with no colorspace conversion, but if I set virtualdub in "fast recompress" mode, who can assure me that ffinputdriver.vdplugin not bring out images in rgb in virtuadub?

    thank you

The ffinputdriver returns same as source. So if Source is YUV, it returns YUV. However, if you use vdub with most filters , you will incur an RGB conversion . If you set vdub in fast recompress mode, it will be the same as source up to that point. What occurs after depends..... For example, some codecs cause you to incur RGB conversion. For example Matrox codecs do this.

What do you mean by "images" ? Some image formats (if you mean image sequences ) are YUV, some are RGB . But most that are YUV are decoded as RGB by most decoders (e.g. jpeg is usually decoded as RGB, but internally uses YUV)

  3. Sorry for "images" I meant the the video.

I understand: so if I use the fast recompress option I'm sure it use the same colorsopace.
