Need Help, Voices and Sound do not match?

Hi, I'm new to this dvd thing, I have Sony dvd-R and I'm using ConvertXtoDVD to convert and then put on dvd, but everytime I play the dvd in my dvd player the voices and sounds do not match and the screen jumps, how can I fix's this. What would be a good program that will convert and put on dvd or is ConvertXtoDvd good and I just do not know what I'm doing please help me thanks.
