I recently bought the "official" ps3 wireless headphones. I like them.
However if I try to watch something on youtube with them it's way too loud. So far as I can tell there isn't a volume control for youtube within the app itself.
I have the volume slider on the headset at its lowest setting and its still too loud.
Obviously it will vary video to video on youtube but it just seems way too loud right now.
The ps3 is good enough to have a volume slider in the system that you can change when watching a movie, either a file or on disc. However that volume slider is not available in the youtube app from what I can see.
I'll get around to looking it up online but thought I'd ask here first.
Fyi the ps3 sony wireless headsets use a usb dongle and transmit all the sound output from the ps3. It's not one of those that hook up to the external audio output jacks, its strictly digital via the usb connection (wireless).
Thanks.
(and the headset is very good even though its a bit bulky, but it's still comfortable).
