I was thinking that too. The videos always stutter, quality is low, and it's too busy. It's like a giant ad factory. And they keep trying to dig more and more into your personal life with this google+ crap and the blogs, and it's just too much hoo-hah to even be enjoyable anymore.
You can't even customize your page anymore. All that junk is in the way. -
these changes are all part of standardizing, incorporating video and flash criteria into one. the end result is for logging/tracking and identification, revenue tracking, etc. on every computer.
throw the idea of potential dollars and they easily go along with it.
see, i was not lying about the adds and other things showing on youtube these days. you guys see'em too. otherwise, even when you figure a way to bypass them, they come back somehow.
another thing i hate is how often i keep seeing the need to update flash (to keep up with these changes no doubt) all the time.
i think the consortium watch too much scifi movies. i mean, they are trying their best to push for that future'istic experience.
yeah, i hate it all too. -
Google is loosing my loyalty, quickly.
I googled "snowblowers" (I need to buy one) and now just about every web site I go to has ads for snowblowers. Pain in the butt. -
you too ? i google telescopes and tripods, now all the ads on this forum shows telescopes. after a few days it goes back to the forums' default ads. but today, i was googling for wahl vacume attatchments for hair clippers, and now those are showing. lately it seems that google is taking over or highjacking everyone. very sneaky, they are!

Yeah, and they keep coming over and over again. To the point where I would NEVER BUY ANYTHING from those A-HOLES! I'll purposely buy elsewhere.
Same for Amazon. Click on something and they keep blasting you with it over and over. How friggin "smart" is that? There's no "artficial intelligence" or data mining going on, it's just keep bombarding someone that made an inquiry once.
I already bought an "iRig Pro" audio interface, and I'm not gonna buy TWO. They're blasting me right now, right here on this very page.
I don't know who came up with the idea of chasing customers with constant spam to attract more business. Stoopid. It's just Spam re-invented outside of e-mail.
Google probably rates each person's buying capacity based on past purchases so you get shown the higher price for everything. Those Pebble Watches are $149 at BestBuy and the Pebble website, but Amazon keeps showing me $199. WTF?Last edited by budwzr; 10th Nov 2013 at 17:29.

Use Firefox with NoScript and you will avoid all those targeted ads. I hate them too.

So Tree, you just outed yourself as a banner-blocker.
This thread could be a reverse sting from management to clean out "dead wood".

Firefox.... Self-Destructing Cookies add-on will stop most of the above. You may have to sign in to some websites instead of auto, but no biggie. No Script helps, but it's main purpose is to prevent Active-X/Java script injection viruses.

Perhaps Google bowed to some pressure - they modified the Youtube comment requirement, you no longer
need to logon with a Google+ ID. -
^ Really?
Anyway, the "threading system" for the comments still is bugged as hell ¬¬
And now it's too late for me and many other people who deleted our channels because of our overdue impatience -.-
