Hey,
I recently used TMPGEnc to convert my .avi to .mpeg using King Vipers SVCD Template. I loaded up the template but changed the resolution from 480x480 to 592x480 for a reason I couldn't explain to you right now (ie. I have no idea). The file came out just how I wanted it in mpeg format, and 625MBish in size. Perfect! I thought to myself
.
But when it came to using VCDeasy to copy this file onto a CD it all went terribly wrong
I selected SVCD format and turned off the compliance check. It all burned with various errors occuring.. but it still did burn.
I then went to put the burnt CD into my DVD/CD player on my computer. I opened windows explorer to have a look inside the CD but it all came up blank and said there was no CD in the drive!![]()
Since I am a newbie to this I am not sure whether a VCD should even work on a PC... and considering I don't actually have my DVD player yet (arriving in a few days) I can't test it out on that.
So I would be very grateful if anyone could explain any parts of my process that I have done incorrectly I would be joyfully happy :P
It was probally changing the resolution at the beginning. But If I don't do that the film just doesn't look right on my pc.
Anyhow, thanks for any help in advance,
Gamester
PS. I just re-read this and it sounds like a story for some reason, appoligies if its a bit long winded
