I have a MKV file with an aac audio track I'm trying to convert to ac3. The program (https://www.videohelp.com/tools/PopCorn-MKV-AudioConverter) has always performed flawlessly for me so I am somewhat confused with this error and was wondering what I could have done to trigger an error message that says "conversion complete or program disabled" I have tried other mkv files with aac and it works, only this particular file. I have checked for compressed headers etc...

Haha yes I tried that with a big fail as well. My longwinded workaround was to use ConvertXtoDVD. I then extracted the audio and laid that into the original MKV - so good video and sound. It's really an academic question as to why the problem with this file and no other similar...?

    My fixed file details.
