MKV to XviD tutorials?

I tried searching Google and other sites first but I have no luck.

Are there any such tutorials written directly for converting MKV to XviD? I'm not asking in this thread how to do it, but I'm asking did anyone ever write a tutorial for that conversion? If yes, could someone please link me to the tutorial?
