unofficially known as The Cleveland Steamer, this badass APU is said to bring a massive 10% IPC improvement over current generation APUs while also including an ARM processor for suckurity. AMD will be paper launching the new processor in Dec 2013 which coincidentally is when Intel runs out of toilet paper, so things will work out beautifully for both of them.

I wish AMD well; judging from how Maximum PC describes they still aren't going to rival Intel speed wise, but I have always had a soft spot for AMD ever since they up and kicked Intel in the pocketbook and drove the price of chips down so that the homebuilding industry developed.

I hear you Ranchhand, what gets me is the way Intel tried to maintain its monopoly by buying off PC makers and in the process hurting us consumers, just because they didn't have a CPU capable of competing with AMD's.
