So my needs are straightforward. I want a capture card that ignores VHS Macrovision and has composite and svideo input. Onboard hardware encoding is a big plus. The card must support 64bit Windows 7. Digital TV tuning isn't necessary but I won't argue if there's a board that offers that option as well as meeting my other qualifications.
I came up with the KWorld KW-PC134-A PCI Analog TV Card II

If it ignores Macrovision it looks perfect. Anyone familiar with it? Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help!

I don't know if the KWorld KW-PC134-A PCI Analog TV Card II ignores Macrovision or not, but it definitely does not have the S-Video connection you want. Look at the picture and specs. It has an RCA composite video input, an RCA L/R audio Input, and a BNC input to connect an antenna for the analog tuner.
