    Hi,

I have some MKV H.264 files that are flagged as being 29.97 FPS.

They look choppy when played at that rate, so I think that they were badly encoded, and that the real frame rate is 23.976.

Is there a way to change this flag, preferably without a full recode?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    No.

You think? You don't know how to tell? If you want to know for sure maybe you can upload a small 10 second section here, one with steady movement.
