need help on SD1300 play VCD/SVCD

Hi all !

I have a Toshiba SD-1300 DVD Player, he is working great on DVD & VCD.
I have a problem when playing SVCD, the Toshiba recognize the SVCD disc as a VCD disc (according to the DVD led's). it's playes the video fine but the audio is out of sync.
When I play the same SVCD Disc on other DVD (Hyundai 2020 - much cheaper DVD...) it plays fine both video and audio.

Did someone have this problem ? Do you think that the DVD Is broken ?

Hi there,

I am having the exact same problem with the same DVD Player .... not happy. I am currently playing around with different settings. Works great with VCD's, but not with SVCD's. Have you made any progress?.
