MKVMERGE GUI slower than version 5.8

I have been using MkvMerge GUI 5.8 and recently uninstalled it and installed the latest version (6.5). I noticed that muxing takes much longer than version 5.8. Ha anyone else noticed this?

haven't really checked, but it wouldn't surprise me since the mkv format gets extended more and more (to in example be able to support new audio&video formats), thus the structure gets potentially more complex,..

Just for the notes --- a random file, remuxed with MMG 5.8.0, required 26 seconds;
the same file, remuxed with MMG 6.5.0-1, required 28 seconds ;

PERHAPS there is a regression in the GUI (not in mkvmerge itself),
and in this case, please goto http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/bugreports.html ,
since the author of MKVtoolnix is not a regular visitor of Videohelp
(afaik, at least).

I checked the page for bug reports and it doesn't mention a mail to send. I think i will go back to version 5.8. Same result but quicker.

not exactly the same result, the internal structure of the mkv file will differ,...

El Heggunte for a 10GB MKV file while the 5.8 version took about 2 minutes and 25 seconds, in the 6.5 it requires about 3 minutes and 10 seconds. Not a small difference.
