DRM Video Removal

I recently purchased a video from Itunes and used Requiem to remove the DRM so I could convert the file to avi. It worked great and super fast. Second time I tried this, I left for an hour and came back, and it still was "working." Any other programs like this that work well? Not sure why it went so fast first time then basically stalled the second time. Other programs that claim to removie drm try and convert at the same time, and open up itunes, etc. and its terrible. Requiem just removed the drm and that was it.

My guess is that Itunes changed their DRM formula.

doesn't work with itunes 11.X yet. still works for me in in 10.X

This may sound dumb, but If I go back and d/l an older itunes, and then re download the video, will it work then?

Yes - that's what you're meant to do (I think - never tried before).If you're using Requiem 4.1, you need iTunes 10.7, or any 10.6.x version.

I'm using Windows 7 and just dealt with this literally yesterday.
I installed iTunes 10.7 and downloaded Requiem 4.1.
I re-downloaded the 1080p HD movies I had idiotically deleted and stripped them with Requiem. So yes, after completely uninstalling everything imaginable pertaining to this process, rebooting and reinstalling, you have to download the individual movies again. It'll tell you that you've already purchased them and that it'll be a free download. Have no fear if it looks like you're about to pay for them again. It will get to the point where it explains that it'll be free.
I then used Aimersoft's Video Converter Ultimate to convert the m2v files to AVI. It worked like a charm. Though yes, it does take at least as long as it does to watch the film in real-time... sometimes a bit longer even.
Take it from me, DO NOT go through the headache of using Aimersoft, iSkySoft, etc. to re-encode the files. The results are always choppy, out of sync and horrific. Hence, why I love Requiem. Just download, strip and convert without the need to capture the screen. It even retains 5.1 tracks, subtitles and such.
