  1. Hi,

please go to my dropbox: I have upload my input files C0020.MXF in the "public" folder

logon into it with this credential:

    user: mrocchini@email.it
    pass: centrale

I have transcode this .mxf have a .avi file with:

    FFMPEG -i c0020.mxf -vcodec copy -an output.avi

Now I import output.avi in Edius, but I see a green image:

why I can not see picture correctly? thanks!

ps: I know I can import directly .mxf but for many reasons I have to import the ffmpeg output

just my guess but if whatever is in the mxf isn't an avi to begin with changing it's muxing and headers to avi most likely wrecks it. mxf is usually mpeg.

    Please explain.

AFAIK only VLC will play XDCam in an avi container -- and that's a kludge.
