  1. I'm having a problem with Avidemux trying to convert to AVI's, I'm semi new to this and am needing help getting my outputs set correctly to have these files play on burned discs and work on my DvD player.

    I've mainly been trying:
    Mpeg 4 ASP (xvid)
    Two way pass 1500bit

Ive tryed thus far on the audio outputs the AAC(faac) and ACC burned on the discs the audio will completely not play.

Pretty much my audio is constantly off sync from what Ive tryed.. I just want them to line and sync up nice when I burn it on my disc and work on the DvD player. Please help if could, much appreciated if someone could correct me.

    My Video Codec Info:

    Stream 0
    Type: Video
    Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part10)(avc1)
    Resolution: 1440x1080

    Stream 1
    Type: Audio
    Codec: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)
    Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
    Channels: Stereo

  2. Why make XviD AVIs for a DVD player? Does your player also play XviD AVIs? And if it does, the chances are excellent it won't play Hi-Def XviD AVIs (1440x1080). Have you been changing to a Standard-Def resolution?

Why not just make a DVD? Try AVSToDVD.

Which doesn't play XviD AVIs. So, why are you wasting your (and our) time?

Read your manual next time before trying to make XviD AVIs for a player that won't play them.

Then why do they still "play"?

Does this program convert MKV's that you listed?

Then I misunderstood. Nothing I came across listed playing AVIs of any kind. About all I discovered remotely useful about the player is that it can be hacked to play out-of-region DVDs. So, these XviD AVIs you make play, but out-of-synch?

    Yes.
