  1. OK, so I need to make a DVD with 2 things on it. 1 will be an audio track with no video, and the other thing is a photo slideshow with no sound. I would like to make a DVD that will play on a TV or computer, with a menu screen that has an option to launch either the slide show or the audio. I tried to use the "Windows DVD maker" program that comes with windows 7, but I couldnt figure it out. Anybody know a good tutorial or how to do this?

  2. DVD audio has to have video with it, even if only a black screen. And the audio has to be DVD compliant. Make yourself a black screen (or choose an appropriate picture) for inclusion with the audio. Video isn't required to have any audio associated with it.

Try DVD Slideshow GUI. There are quite a few guides for its use on that page.

  3. Grab yourself a copy of Powerdirector (one of the older free copies they use as a way of an incentive to buy the newer versions) you can extract audio from your production, delete the orginal video and therefore keep only the sound and no video. I use this a lot.

The photo slide show is also really easy to use.

If you want a tutorial - e-mail me.
