[ My apologies - please see this thread for answer to this issue: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/359466-Downloading-segmented-FLV-streaming-video-wi...name-variables ]
I am trying to download flv segmented streaming video from neulion using IDM. There is a post regarding neulion video (see below), but this post includes a new significant issue. The problem is that there seem to be three variables in the source file name (requiring multiple wildcards with a coordinated logic). The three variables change independently and by varying increments, which makes predicting the file name impractical. I thought one possibility would be to log all the streaming video file names in order as they stream to the computer and then request all those files from the server. After that the files can be re-joined together in the order they were streamed (the order can be taken from the log order). I'm new to downloading video with these complexities, so I may be missing something basic. Below is an example of a source file:
example of the end of the file source name - unedited:

example of file source where I've placed the 3 necessary wildcards:
http://..._nyj_ne_2013_h_whole_1_*.mp4/*/*.mp4
thank you and let me know if I can provide any other information.
