There is no point in anybody doing that. Cornucopia already tried, but it appears you will only accept an answer from lordsmurf. You are past two weeks waiting time for him now!

There was a mention of "concrete" earlier. OK...

What if I encase my disks in concrete, keeping all the fungus inside the concrete. And my speakers are there, too, with wiring to deliver occasional bursts of amps to maintain some kind of core temp to the concrete. AND what if I'm using SECC steel as rebarb?

Would this allow my concrete disks to be read in my DVD-BluRay (or soon to be ConcreteRay) drives? Forever and ever? Or at least rivaling certain Egyptian mummies?

    Where are those tanna leaves?

Meanwhile, Shatner still wants to talk about that thing out on the wing...

He revealed his true self in his Cooler Master thread:

"But if I send email on the cooler master they will lie and will tell you that the case is SECC but in fact it is not? so I asked here"

No matter what he's told, he won't believe you.

    That said:

"errors jitter, PIE, PIPO and C1C2 if these errors will delete the files burned on DVD media?"

    Yes, No, Maybe.

    Can't call ME a liar!

JUST when I thought he'd never learn a thing!! With disc-eating fungus eating from the outside, jittery pies eating from the inside, there is really no hope! (Where's that head-slap smiley when I need it?)

Ever since this thread, I've been craving pie.

Seriously ... I want a slice of pie. A really good slice of pecan or chess pie would hit the spot.

    MMmmm ... pie.

You are SOOOO bad-! What's next?

    Fungy fungy night...
Paint your case blue and gray
Look out on a humid day
With eyes that see the jitters and pie...

Too bad we can't funnel all of this back to Gonca. "Is he gone?" We should NEVER let him forget THAT post.

There is no point in anyone else answering your question. gonca already told you that "Yes or no" was correct, which is true, but you do not understand. lordsmurf will post his answer in only 17 more days, although I doubt that you will understand that either.

How thoughtful of you to extend the wait period. Perhaps it will give lordsmurf a chance to satisfy his craving for pie. Fortunately, I have been eating Mom's home-made apple pie every night since Sunday so I don't have cravings.

We need to stop wasting time on these issues, and get the REAL issue solved: the FTP standard. FTP over the Internet.

    The Food Transport Protocol.

lordsmurf will not post his answer until sometime in early November now. Pout and complain all you want. All you are going to do is add to the delay in getting the answers you want. LOL

If you're a troll, grow up. It's not that bad.

If you're serious, get help. Mental illness is not funny.

Edit: Either way, I apologize for making fun of you. You seriously need help!

Oh my! My apologies, Gonca! Boy... if I'd ONLY known, I'd have SHOUTED!! ha ha

But, y'know, it coulda been worse. For example, here's a fellow that has his computer near his relaxin' couch, and he foolishly was loading fungal-laden disks in while running those speakers at full 1w levels... and now... poor chap...

Of course, this brings us to another bit of high-humidity, rainforest-based questions. Like, why do Poster Girls always dress so skimpily?

Honestly, Poster Babes, can this ol' Planet survive more aliens and giant critters who come stomping across the Earth, all because of loose shoulder straps and really nice cleavage?!!

(These filmmakers patently deny that Disc Fungus was the origin of this malady, by the way. Methinks they doth protest too much. Verily!)

"Irrelevant"? Uh. You have never answered ONE of my questions - and I've asked the same ones in many many threads. You refuse to answer my questions. We all know the answers, by the way. We read. We understand. We CHOOSE to understand. Maybe THAT is the big difference!

But, back to Gonca's RELEVANT questions, an excellent new sig, yes indeedy. But I remain perplexed about fungal guys getting the babes. But it's not JUST the spores and lack of SECC coating... heck, any rain-foresty area, any high humidity, even swampy area seems to get the babes out with those loose shoulder-straps and great cleavage again. For the life of me, I can't figure out where these babes were heading to originally... "Let me just stop off at this swamp for a sec, OK?"

Now, if I remember this story correctly, ol' Swampy was a nerd, too... playin' around with labs and probably coulda been a bit more careful about computers, too. Darn...

  26. if my discs are burned with errors jitter, PIE, PIPO and C1/C2 these errors will cause deleted of data on the discs and dvd drive will not read the disc? these errors will cause file deleted in dvd in the future?

  27. errors jitter, pie, pif, pi-po, C1C2, poe, pof, etc. are errors that will be corrected by the dvd drive and are not errors that cause loss and delete files on burned dvd?

(I'm scared to start. Gonca's still out there, waiting to pounce! I know it - I can feel it! Yet...)

GAME, you are using incorrect English terms. These errors do not "cause loss and delete files". These errors prevent good burning and good reading of files.

If you close a door, objects on the other side are not destroyed or deleted. But you can't see them. That doesn't mean they no longer exist. "Cause loss and delete" means "no longer exist".

You should be asking, "Do these errors prevent reading of my files?"
