    Hi,
    I am new to AviSynth, I need to add Text to my Video.


    What are the Options.


    one I came across is Subtitle, if that is the only option, then how can i change the thickness of the font, I triedfont_width andsize , but no good.

    It's not. As El Heggunte suggests, just make a subtitle in SSA or ASS format which support all kinds of styles (size, font, color, position, etc.) and use the textsub filter to put the subtitles into the script for encoding.
