    Hi, I have an MKV video file that comes with a separate language DTS file. How can I make VLC play the MKV file with the DTS audio track? Thanks.

    Media > Open Advanced.
    Add the main video file then the second audio.
    During playback click Audio and Audio track.

    Thanks so much sambat, I was going crazy with the VLC menu but now with your instructions everything is fine. I ended up merging the MKV and DTS files with MKVmerge which also plays fine. Regards.

    Hi there! Anybody knows how to do the same thing on Mac? I can't see "Media" option in the player.. I have an old G5 PowerMac with OS 10.4.11.. maybe that's why?....
