Greetings: I've uploaded an iPhone video file to my hard drive, but it plays inverted. In other words, the audio is fine, but the picture is upside down. It's an .mov file extension, which I've converted to .mpeg, but the problem persists. Anyone have any ideas? I've downloaded all Quicktime updates and I'm stumped! Thanks in advance.....

Maybe you actually held the iphone upside-down when you filmed the video ??

Load the video into avidemux and apply an invert filter to it. You will have to re-encode the video though

  3. If you use Quicktime Pro, Window/Show Movie Properties, click on video track, visual settings tab, Flip/Rotate. I don't know if it works on the free version.

You can also try Windows Live Movie Maker (free). You just need to drag and drop the movie, press the rotate "button" twice (180 degree rotation), and then save the movie. The downside it that the output format is .wmv which is not supported by Quicktime. However, other players such as VLC or Windows Media Player can play .wmv files.
