    here's the deal. i have ati tv wonder ve. it will only record in mpeg2. i want to back up my dragon ball z. 3-4 episodes per tape between 60-70 mins per. i would like to put one tape on each disc. it seems i cant fit an mpeg2 on a cd so i figure well i'll just make it into a mpeg1. crisis overted right? wrong. i cant figure out any kind of straight foward explanation on how to do it. so finally to the point. how can i...

    a. convert from mpeg2 to mpeg1?

    or

    b. record in mpeg1?
