  1. hi every

    I have a VCD and I want to detect what kinda chapter it has and which format, because it's very very WEIRD VCD , I have tried in my DVD Player (AIWA 370) and it play fine, but I couldn't play it in PC ,, I tried 10 or 15 Player softwares but none couldn't play it

    it seems have 30 Chapter but each chapter is in seprate DAT file in MPEGAV folder and I even couldn't convert them with VCDGEAR or VCDCUTTER or anything else


    Please somebody help me becuase its very urgent , I want to burn a same VCD like this

  2. Is it a retail VCD or a burned VCD?

  3. If it has multiple DAT files, it is a multitrack VCD, not chapters.

    Try extracting a CUE/BIN disc image with CDRDAO or CDRWin and then use VCDXRIP to extract everything.

    You can use VCD Easy as a GUI to VCDXRIP if you don't like using command console tools.

    actually I've burned a copy of retail CD, and do you know how I can play this CD on my PC ? and by the way the first track in MPEGAV (AVSEQ01.DAT) is just playing in XING MPEG Player but not other DAT File
