  1. I open a .ts file with Media player classic home cinema, watch the movie, choose a later scene and then go back, but the timins are different. Check the two photos i attach. The same scene while watching it, and again after going forward and back. It should be the same timing, but in the first it is 01:20 and in the second 01:13. The version of Media player classic home cinema is 1.6.4.6052.

You have an outdated version of MPC-HC. If the problem persists in the most recent build, then please send a properly-written report to their bug tracker:

Not sure of what you tried to say...

Still, if the problem is in the TS demuxer of LAV Splitter, describing it in a Videohelp topic won't get the attention of the programmer who can solve it.

  6. I converted the file to mkv, the problem is somewhat solved, the timing (almost with 4 minutes difference as you see in the pictures) is always the same no matter if i move forward and then go back. The first picture is from the mkv file and the second from the mts. The mkv file is 400mb smaller (the mts is 14.3gb and the mkv 13.9gb), do you think that the conversion to mkv might affect the audio and video quality?

The ts uses more overhead than mkv so there's no change at all to the video or audio, sounds like a issue on your computer,I use mpc-hc all the time and never got a timing issue in any mkv or ts or any other type of video file.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
