  2. Try different output devices. Try the Alternative VSync option. Multiple displays? Try another display.

    View -> Options -> Playback -> Output...

  3. VSynch did not fix it. Only one display

  4. View -> Renderer Settings -> Tearing Test

  5. I started the tearing test, didn't do a lot aside from giving me red bars

  6. Did you see tears in the red bars? That was the point of the test. To verify the tearing was caused by the graphics card, not in your source video.

  8. What does that mean? Where the red bars torn too?

    Did you try changing output devices as suggested in my first post in this thread?

  9. No the red bars were fine but the tears were still on the video.

    I only have one output device

  10. That means the tearing is in your source video. There's nothing you can do about that.

    Every computer has multiple output devices. I'm not talking about graphics cards or monitors. These are software devices through which the picture gets from the player to the graphics card. If you look at the config dialog there are several choices on every system, video overlay, VMR7, MVR9, EVR, etc.

  12. Play one of your videos in MPCHC. Step through frame by frame with CTRL+RightArrow. Do you see torn frames?

  13. No tearings there, how come?
