  1. I'm trying to convert my Blade 2 avi into vcd format but TMPENG (spelling) and Xing won't open the file for conversion. I can play the movie just fine on Windows Media Player Though. I have 2 files for Blade 2. Each is about 150 mb. Another program i used said the audio stream wasn't supported. (i forgot the name of the program because i deleted it in frustration). What do you guys think I need to do because none of the programs I've tried can support converting the file yet?

sounds like a DivX file with avi extention. You need to look to the left and look up how to convert DivX to vcd.
May the force be with you.

Ah, I think I seen that, was it Vdub that complained ?. I think I just saved out another copy using streaming. The audio was not changed, Vdub said "0" seconds out of sync

You do need the codec installed to use those programs though, I guess you have those.

So try again with Vdub, You don't need to save out the Audio. Load it in to Vdub 1.49, do a "Scan Video stream for error's" set audio and video to streaming and "save as" save out blade1-fix.avi and use that with TMPGEnc
